On November 4, 2018, at 845 am, the East Pennsboro Township Police say they spoke with a female who reported a Protection From Abuse (PFA) Order violation earlier in the day. Authorities say the woman said she received a phone call and a voicemail from Christopher Michael Rivers, 45, of the 200 block of West Columbia Road, Enola, at 7:35 am. Also on this date, the victim’s father received a text message at 7:05AM asking the father to relay a message to the woman.
The PFA Order excludes Rivers from having any contact to include contact through a third party. Rivers was charged with Contempt for violation of PFA and was arrested December 17, 2018. He will face a hearing before the Court of Common Pleas in Cumberland County to be scheduled at a later date. Rivers was released on $15,000 bond.
The 43 year old Rivers was arrested earlier in September 2017 for Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another, Simple Assault and Harassment. All charges were dropped by the Cumberland County District Attorney in June of this year.
