The West Lampeter Township Police Department welcomed Officer Phil Strosser. Officer Strosser, pictured here being sworn in by District Court Judge Benner, began his employment with West Lampeter in January. 

Although new to the department, Officer Strosser comes with over 20 years of experience as a trooper with the Pennsylvania  State Police. During his tenure with PSP, Phil received a number of awards and commendations, to include Trooper of the Year, DUI Top Gun Enforcement Award and several Troop commendations. Officer Strosser was also a member of PSP’s criminal investigative division before being promoted to the rank of corporal.
