A man wanted for a shooting in Williamsport is in custody after the Scranton Police Street Crimes Unit assisted the U.S. Marshals Wednesday night.
Jordan Andrew Artley, 19, of Lycoming Creek Road, Williamsport, was charged in Lackawanna County on Thursday with flight to avoid apprehension, possession with intent to deliver and related counts.
On May 7, 2020, Williamsport police charged Artley with criminal attempt, criminal homicide attempt, aggravated assault and related counts.
After learning Artley was staying at the Four Points by Sheraton on Meadow Avenue in Scranton, police say went there and spotted Artley walking. Police say he was taken into custody, police searched his hotel room and found more than $5,000 in cash, marijuana, and a notebook labeled “Ghost Movements,” which described Artley’s plan to elude police.
Artley is lodged at Lycoming County Prison having been denied bond.
