Life in prison for Michael Saylor in York County murder

York County Court of Common Pleas Judge Musti Cook sentenced James Michael Saylor, 25 years old of Windsor,  to life in prison, plus a consecutive 9 to 18 months. A jury took less than an hour to convict Saylor on September 26 of First Degree Murder, Harassment, Ethnic Intimidation, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle, for the July 21, 2018 shooting death of Chad Merrill outside the Red Rose Restaurant & Lounge in Hellam Township.
